Attending Grace Bible Church since the summer of 2002, Steve led the team in homeruns last year with eight. Playing center field, he is part of what could very well be the fastest outfield in the league. His blend of speed, power, and base-running make him a strong hitter that opposing pitchers have to work hard to stop.

His favorite book of the Bible is First Peter, as it gives warning to Christians to avoid many of the influences of the outside world that will only harm them. His favorite verse is First Peter 3:15 and feels that a Christian must be “prepared to give an account of the hope that is within him,” to all Non-believers who ask why he believes what he does. He found the welcoming spirit of those on the softball team especially, to be one of the main factors that he started coming to GBC on a consistent basis.
